  17. The hyperguide.datatype is used for displaying AmigaGuide and HyperGuide
  18. documents using the hypertext.datatype base class. It provides many
  19. features, which aren't available in the original amigaguide.datatype
  20. like embedding of other datatype objects, real lists and more. All
  21. functionality of the base class can be used within a HyperGuide or
  22. AmigaGuide document.

  24. From the version 40.20 of the hypertext.datatype it is possible to use
  25. all HTDS datatypes for online help using the amigaguide.library. So its
  26. now possible and recommended to use the hyperguide.datatype for all your
  27. guides including AmigaGuide. This can be done by replacing the original
  28. AmigaGuide datatype descriptor from Devs:Datatypes with the AmigaGuide
  29. descriptor provided with the HyperGuide distribution.

  31. NOTE: From version 40.19 of the hyperguide.datatype a problem was fixed
  32. with online-help of various programs. If a program quoted a node name
  33. to be linked to the hyperguide.datatype couldn't find the node. This
  34. is now fixed.
